YouTube, a Google company, requires all users to link their video sharing accounts to Google accounts. A YouTube Brand Account is usually created specifically for your company. It is not the same as a personal Google Account. You can only transfer your youtube account from one Gmail account to another Gmail account if your youtube account is a brand account. You can't transfer if it is a normal account. If your account has a normal personal youtube channel then you can just provide access to your youtube channel to another account that can just manage and upload videos i.e. the account is not shared or transferred permanently.

Step 1: So the first step will be converting your normal personal youtube channel to a brand account.
There is a catch on this step. To Convert your channel to a brand account, firstly you have to create a new channel from that same account. I mean you have to create a new channel from the same Gmail account whose youtube channel is to be transferred. After that, it asks you for a brand name. Provide a name that you want your transferred channel to be. And your brand account is created. 

Step 2: Since your Brand account is created, you need to transfer the old youtube channel to that brand channel. For this, you have to go to your youtube setting and go to the "Channel" section. You can see the "Advanced Setting" option. Click on Advanced Setting and a new window or section is prompted. Then you will be able to see the "Manage youtube Account" option. Click on  'Manage youtube Account' and again there is an Advanced Setting option. Click on Advanced Setting and you can find the Convert to Brand account. Click on Convert to Brand account. This way, you can convert your channel to a brand account.

Step 3: And then the second step will be transferring your account to another account. For this, you need to go to the youtube account setting and you can see the 'Add or remove manager(s)' option. You can provide access to anyone by using email. Before you assign the primary owner to another account you need to provide that account the role of manager for 7 days and then you can permanently change the owner of that youtube channel.
